Slow Cooker Shredded Beef
This Slow Cooker Shredded Beef recipe was handed down to me from my mom and I’ve been making it this way for years.

Have you ever had one of those days when you really do not feel like cooking yet still want something that tastes like you spent hours preparing it Well,As my mother used to do .
the kids came home feeling hungry and cranky so I just threw this together as a Classic I cooked “let’s see what happens” the result surprised me in the best way because it turned out so tender that I thought I had messed something up and I even asked myself if I had somehow become a chef without realizing it.
What makes it even better is the fact that it just sat there cooking slowly while I went on with my day without even thinking about it which felt like a total win.

And really if you have never tried making beef this way where it becomes so soft it almost falls apart just from being looked at then you are definitely in for something special . Also just a quick heads up because the smell on its own might make your neighbors curious and maybe even a little jealous .

So now let’s get started although I should warn you that there might not be any leftovers at all !!

Notes
- Reheat Gently: When reheating leftovers, add a splash of broth or water to keep the meat from drying out
- Searing for Flavor: While optional, searing the beef before placing it in the slow cooker adds extra depth and a rich, caramelized taste
- Adjust the Spice Level: You can make the beef mild for kids or add more chili powder, hot sauce, or jalapeños for adults who like it spicy.
- Broth Options: Beef broth gives the richest flavor, but chicken broth or even vegetable broth can work in a pinch.
