First we prepare choosing a jar or container with a lid. This will be used to mix and store the overnight oats. Make sure it is clean and dry and in the jar, add the rolled oats, milk, cooled coffee, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir everything together until the oats are fully coated in liquid. This mixture will soften overnight and become creamy.

Step 2
Next we combine in a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt or mascarpone style yogurt until smooth. This will be the creamy tiramisu style layer then spoon half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the jar. Add a layer of the creamy yogurt mixture on top. Then add the remaining oats and finish with another small layer of yogurt.

Step 3
After that cover the jar tightly and place it in the refrigerator. Let it rest for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best so the oats fully soften.

Step 4
At the end in the morning, remove from the fridge and sprinkle a little cocoa powder on top. Add chocolate chips or crushed cookies if using. Stir gently or enjoy in layers.
