It’s kind of become a tradition for us to eat Crispy Breaded Chicken while we watch The Family Switch, and since the new season started we’ve reinstated Crispy Breaded Chicken night. We’re such rebels, I know.

When I figured out the perfect balance between crunchy outside and juicy inside then it was pure magic and I almost cried from joy.
We’re not making anything fancy like gourmet fried chicken but instead we’re keeping it simple so it’s just good old comfort food. The outside is golden and crispy while the inside is tender and flavorful. There’s no need for a deep fryer and there’s definitely no drama involved although my kitchen turned into a flour explosion.
What is it about crispy food that brings such happiness,That very first bite gives you a satisfying crunch and it becomes addictive. I’ve made this dish on lazy Sundays and for quick weeknight dinners and even for a family picnic once. Spoiler alert it disappeared before anyone even touched the potato salad.

If you’ve never tried making breaded chicken before then don’t worry about it because it’s honestly easier than you might think.You’ll only need a few basic ingredients and a little bit of patience and maybe someone nearby to shoo away since people tend to hover while it cooks.
