Smoothie Popsicles taste like strawberry shortcake in a cup and contain no added sugar so they won’t derail your diet. In fact, store-bought popsicles don’t even come close because these are vibrant and made without any weird ingredients.

Smoothie Popsicles

It all began with a blender and a heatwave because I was just craving something cold since ice cream felt too heavy while plain ice seemed boring. So I grabbed some leftover smoothie, poured it into a mold and then popped it into the freezer without any fancy plan—just pure desperation.

The next day, it turned out to be magic as the result was surprisingly good. It was creamy and fruity with a slight tanginess. Even though my nephew always says he hates anything “delicious” he ate two of them before I could even grab one myself—typical.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 banana sliced

How to Make Smoothie Popsicles

Step 1

Wash all your fruits if they’re fresh.
Add the banana, strawberries, Greek yogurt, orange juice, and honey to your blender.
Blend everything until it’s smooth. If it’s too thick, you can add a bit more juice or water.

Step 2

Pour the smoothie mixture carefully into your popsicle molds. If you don’t have molds, you can use small paper cups and place a wooden stick in the center.
Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

Step 3

Put the molds into the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight for the best results.
To remove the popsicles, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds, and they should slide right out!

Recipe Tips

Use frozen fruit : It makes the smoothie colder and thicker, which is perfect for popsicles.

Don’t overfill : Leave a little space at the top of each mold to let the popsicles expand as they freeze.

Quick cleanup : Rinse your blender right after use so fruit doesn’t stick and get messy.
