I whipped up a batch the night before school started while I was half-watching reruns and trying really hard not to eat all the supplies and spoiler alert I totally failed because I ate three and I have no regrets
The next morning my kid saw them and said “Wait YOU made these?” and I’m still deciding if that was a compliment or a dig but either way I’ll take it.

  • 1 package of rectangular vanilla wafer cookies like Pirouline or similar
  • 1/2 cup white candy melts
  • 1/4 cup pink candy melts for the eraser end
  • 1/4 cup yellow candy melts optional for pencil color
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips for the pencil tips
  • Edible black marker optional for name or decoration

How to Make Wafer Pencil Cookies

Step 1

the first think you have to do is Prepare Your Station Set up a clean workspace and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will be your drying area for the cookies.
