This Watermelon Mojito Drink is easy to make and the perfect beverage to share with all your friends and family in summer.
The count down to summer continues. I have so many little ideas swirling around in my head at the moment like Painkiller.

Have you ever tried cutting a watermelon using a butter knife Well, let me tell you—it doesn’t go well because I learned that the hard way one summer when I ended up with sticky hands, juice absolutely everywhere and a very amused kid watching me struggle. So yeah, classic me.
But out of that chaotic afternoon came something surprisingly amazing—this watermelon mojito. It’s light and minty plus it has just the right amount of sweetness, so it turned into pure poolside magic.
I was only messing around, trying to cool off and maybe impress a friend who happened to be a self-declared “mojito snob”—which was kind of rude but whatever. After one sip, even he admitted, “Okay, that’s kinda genius.” Which means I must’ve done something right.
Have you ever had a drink that instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation even though you’re just hanging out in your backyard while swatting at mosquitos HaHa.And the best part is, it’s ridiculously easy to make—almost too easy.

In fact, don’t be surprised if you find yourself making full pitchers instead of single glasses.
So, are you ready to get refreshingly messy!!
Ingredients :
- 2 cups of fresh watermelon cubed and seedless
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 lime cut into wedges or use 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey optional
- 1 cup club soda or sparkling water chilled

How to Make Watermelon Mojito
Step 1
Prepare the Watermelon
Cut about 2 cups of fresh, seedless watermelon into cubes. If you don’t have seedless watermelon, just remove the black seeds before blending. And Blend and Strain (Optional)
Put the watermelon cubes into a blender and blend until smooth. You can strain it if you want a smoother juice, but keeping the pulp adds more flavor and fiber!
Step 2
Muddle the Mint and Lime In a tall glass, add mint leaves, lime wedges or juice, and sugar or honey if you’re using it. Use a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to gently press and twist the mint and lime. This helps release the oils and juice.
Than Mix in the Watermelon Juice Pour the watermelon juice into the glass with the muddled mint and lime.
Step 3
Ice and Sparkle Add a few ice cubes and top it off with chilled club soda or sparkling water. Stir gently
Garnish and Enjoy : Add a sprig of mint or a small wedge of watermelon on the rim for decoration. Sip and enjoy your refreshing Watermelon Mojito!

How to Store Leftovers
If you make a big batch and have leftovers, store the extra Watermelon Mojito in a sealed jar or container in the fridge. Try to drink it within 1-2 days for the best taste and fizz. If the drink loses its bubbles, just add a splash of soda before serving again. It’s best not to store it with ice inside — it will water down the flavor.
Pro Tip: Store the watermelon juice separately and add the mint, lime, and soda only when you’re ready to drink it!
What to Eat with Watermelon Mojito??
I love having it with small sandwiches or wraps, and maybe garnish it with a lemon wedge on the edge if I’m really feeling like hosting guests. My partner always insists on having it at family barbecues, and it adds a distinct summer flavor. Sometimes, as a treat, I freeze some watermelon mojito juice in ice cubes so it doesn’t melt.
