Have you ever come across one of those recipes that surprise you in the best way!! The kind you try just for fun, even though you’re not completely sure it will work, and then suddenly the whole family is asking for more. Well, that’s exactly what happened with this Parmesan Baked Fish.
It wasn’t a fancy night; rather, it was one of those evenings where you open the fridge and try to make something out of what’s left. I found a few white fish fillets, and I also had a half-used bag of parmesan cheese. Moreover, I had no energy at all.
While I was trying to figure out what to make, my little one was “helping” by moving the spice jars around, although in reality, it was turning into a big mess.
So, I thought to myself: why not give something cheesy and baked a try, and hopefully it wouldn’t turn out boring
As it turned out, it was far from boring.

The top formed a crispy, golden crust, which tasted nutty and savory. At the same time, the inside stayed flaky and juicy. As a result, it honestly felt like we were eating at a fancy seaside restaurant even though it was just a regular Tuesday.
Have you ever tried fish like this? You don’t need to fry anything, and there’s no stress involved. All you need is a few ingredients and a baking tray.
Additionally and I must admit my husband dipped his in ketchup. Yes, ketchup. Even so, he kept saying how amazing it was. Therefore, if you’re cooking for picky eaters or you simply want something easy and delicious, this recipe is exactly what you need.
One last thing make a little extra, because when it comes to leftovers, they disappear quickly.

Tips for
Choose fresh fish: fresh or thawed fish fillets work best. Frozen fillets should be thawed and patted dry.
Add extra flavor: try mixing in dried herbs like parsley, oregano, or basil to the topping.
Crispier crust: use panko breadcrumbs for an extra crunchy bite.
Make it kid friendly: cut the fish into smaller pieces before topping and baking, making fun “fish nuggets.”
Avoid overcooking: fish cooks quickly! Keep an eye on it so it stays moist and tender.
