We were supposed to have salad because you know it was meant to be something light with that whole “I’m trying to eat clean” vibe but then I opened the fridge and saw steak as well as mushrooms that were just about to give me the guilt stare.
So I caved since honestly pasta always wins.
There’s something about that rich creamy mushroom sauce clinging to twirls of pasta while tender bites of steak are nestled in and it just becomes comfort food with a little flair.
I made this I totally overcooked the steak so it turned rubber-band chewy but hey lesson learned and now it’s a go-to whenever we want something hearty yet still a bit fancy,Here’s a pro tip don’t skip the garlic unless you really have to.
Have you tried combining steak and pasta before because if not then buckle up as you’re in for a trea.
